šŸ‚ Fall Activities for Preschoolers šŸŽƒ

šŸ Are you excited for fall? We certainly are! Thereā€™s always something great to look forward to: warm, cozy outfits, beautiful and colourful fall foliage, humongous pumpkins, Halloween, and Thanksgiving! It’s also the perfect time to dive into fun fall activities with your preschooler.

Leaf hunting: The easiest one out thereā€”just head into the yard or a local park, pick up leaves, and count them. Turn it into a game to see who can collect the most leaves.

Creating leaf people: Once your little one has gathered leaves of various shapes and sizes, show them how to arrange the leaves into people. Glue them into a notebook and draw silly faces.

Paper bag trees: Get a brown paper lunch bag, cut the top, then twist and turn the ends until they form a tree. Next, cut out some leaves from fall-colored paper and glue them on. You can also glue on real leaves youā€™ve collected. Build a bunch to create a forest!

Crayon rubbings: Gather interesting-shaped leaves, crayons, and paper. Place a leaf under the paper, then rub a crayon on top. Let your child try it too and watch them smile.

Leaf ghosts: Paint some leaves white, and let your child draw eyes, mouths, and teeth on them.

Fall scavenger hunt: Head to a park, the perfect place for a scavenger hunt! Thereā€™s no need to hide anythingā€”itā€™s all there, waiting to be found. Have your child search for items in specific fall colours or shapes.
